Bespoke Finishings

Last updated: 23/10/2025

These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between Bespoke Finishings (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the Customer (“you”, “your”) for the provision of kitchen respraying, door replacement, worktop installation, and related services.

By booking our services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are free and valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Prices are based on the information provided at the time of quotation.

  • Any changes to the scope of work (such as additional items, repairs, or unforeseen damage) may result in an updated quotation.

  • All prices are inclusive/exclusive of VAT (depending on your business status).

2. Booking & Deposits

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking date.

  • The remaining balance is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your scheduled start date.

  • Cancellations made after this period may incur a charge to cover any materials or preparation work undertaken.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule work in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, equipment failure, or adverse weather conditions.

4. Preparation & Access

  • The customer must ensure clear access to the work area and that all personal items, food, and fragile objects are removed prior to our arrival.

  • If we are unable to start work due to restricted access or unprepared areas, additional time or call-out charges may apply.

5. Materials & Finishes

  • We use professional-grade coatings, primers, and finishes suitable for kitchen and furniture use.

  • Colour matching is done as accurately as possible, though slight variations may occur due to lighting, substrate material, or manufacturer tolerances.

  • The customer is responsible for approving colour and finish before work begins.

6. Limitations

  • We cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage, warping, swelling, or movement in cabinetry caused by water ingress, heat, or structural issues.

  • Sprayed finishes are highly durable, but misuse (e.g., impact damage, harsh cleaning chemicals, or excessive moisture) can cause premature wear.

  • Natural wood and hand-finished items may display minor variations in grain or texture — this is part of their character.

7. Door & Worktop Replacement

  • Replacement doors and worktops are made to measure; once ordered, they cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

  • Bespoke Finishings is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers or manufacturers, but we will always communicate and reschedule promptly.

8. Appliances & Fixtures

  • Any electrical or gas appliance installation will be carried out by a qualified professional in compliance with UK safety standards.

  • We recommend the customer retain all appliance manuals and warranties provided by the manufacturer.

9. Completion & Payment

  • Once work is completed, we invite you to inspect and approve the finish.

  • Full payment is required upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • Ownership of all materials remains with Bespoke Finishings until payment is received in full.

10. Warranty & Aftercare

  • All work carried out by Bespoke Finishings comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee, covering defects in materials or application under normal domestic use.

  • The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or alterations made after completion.

  • Regular cleaning with mild, non-abrasive products is recommended to maintain your finish.

11. Liability

  • While every care is taken on-site, Bespoke Finishings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the performance of our services.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the service provided.

12. Privacy & Data

  • We respect your privacy and handle all customer information in accordance with current data protection regulations (GDPR).

  • We may take photographs of completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes, but only with your consent.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with UK law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
